Students in Astrobiology FINALLY got to go hunting for micrometeorites! We found some awesome ones, too! We are working toward the challenge for Chapter 3...Carbon Roadtrip (how carbon travels through space and to Earth. We've also been doing a little chemistry as well.

Monday, 11/15

Today, we finished our Location, Location, Location projects and we were going to hunt for micrometeorites, but didn't have the magnets. We will be collecting them tomorrow and will, hopefully catch some photos and be able to classify them with the proscope.

In period 2, we were able to construct some models of atoms of 6 elements.

Sunday, 11/7 (Patriots lose to Browns) ;(

This week, Location, Location, Location presentations are due. Period 1 is due Tuesday and Period 2 presentations are due Monday.

Monday, 11/1

Today, we worked on our "Location, Location, Location" projects, due for presentation on Monday, 11/7. They will have time Wednesday and Thursday during class to work.
