Yesterday, we classified stars by brightness (# of suns) and by temperature (in Kelvins) looking for the types of stars that might have planets where life might have evolved. We even plotted Gilese 581 which is a red dwarf star.
Students will now be working in teams of 2-3 presenting skits, animations, comic books, movies or keynotes about high- and low-mass stars. These are due on Monday, 10/25 and are to be placed in their Astrobiology journal.
